Raj is the founder of ORP Investments and serves as the company’s CEO. His investing journey began a little over 10 years ago after buying a few single-family homes. Since 2019, he’s grown the firm’s assets from $12 million to more than $115 million AUM. As a lead syndicator and investor, Raj takes on a value strategy to transform multi-family properties and yield above average market returns for his investors. He’s responsible for providing the strategic direction and leadership across the firm, and places a heavy emphasis on enhancing classic units, providing modern technology services, and cultivating a clean, safe, and caring environment for his residents.
Raj is actively involved in the Houston real estate community through memberships in several organizations. He regularly attends expos and conferences across the country to continue developing his valuable network of partners, investors, lenders, and property managers.
Before becoming a full-time real estate investor, Raj spent 20+ years working as a professional in the chemical and IT industries across various ranks. Most recently, Raj was the Lead SAP Consultant at Infosys.
Raj received his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston.
Jack is a full time real estate investor with over 10 years experience in the industry. He’s completed numerous investments both as a general partner(sponsor) and as a limited partner (passive investor). He currently owns over 1500 apartment units spanning across Texas, Arizona, Utah and Idaho
He holds strong experience in asset management, property repositioning, income generation, implementing operational efficiencies and cost reduction. Over the years, Jack has developed an excellent reputation working with property managers, investors, brokers, contractors, and vendors. Moreover, his ability to structure efficient teams to acquire and operate properties has enabled ORP Investments to grow significantly in recent years.
Jack received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics from California State University, Northridge.
Omar Hinedi is primarily responsible for optimizing the firm’s portfolio. Through his role, he identifies investment opportunities, performs in depth underwriting, conducts market studies, while working closely with Raj and Jack to manage the firm’s existing portfolio.
Omar Hinedi recently graduated from Trinity University where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Accounting. Through his time in college, Omar worked as a Summer Analyst with JLL’s Capital Markets team and as an Intern with Highland Commercial Properties, a San Antonio based single family rental/multi-family investment firm.
